How to make

Knead a soft dough from the products for it. Allow it to rise for about 20 minutes, tear off balls as big as a walnut and drop them in the hot oil, in a deep pan. Fry, turn them over frequently until you get the desired dark golden color.

Once cooled, dip the hardened lokma in the hot syrup. What I did was I poured the syrup over them in a deep platter.

Once cooled and soaked with the syrup, sprinkle them with powdered sugar. These ingredients yield about 70 lokma.

When they're left to sit, they will acquire the aroma and taste of store - bought donuts. Enjoy!
