How to make
Soak the chickpeas overnight. Wash them, pour clean water and boil them, until they're fully cooked.
Cut the meat into pieces and fry them in heated oil.
Add the chopped leeks and after a few minutes add the sauerkraut. Mix well, pour about 1 cup of water and leave it to stew, by stirring occasionally.
Finally, add the spices and chickpeas. Mix well and pour the mixture into a baking pan.
Bake at 390°F (200°C) for about 40 minutes, or until it remains in fat.
The pork with chickpeas and sauerkraut is very tasty.
