How to make
Prepare the burgers by straining the beans from the tin into a bowl and mash them well. Add the minced meat and spices. Stir the mixture very well.
Shape large meatballs (6 burgers), put them on a plate and put them in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small pan, sprinkle the sugar and fry the sliced onion, until it aquires a brown color. Drain it when it's ready onto kitchen paper.
Fry the potatoes, wash and cut the tomato and cut the burger buns in half.
Take the burgers out of the fridge and fry them in the heated oil for about 3 minutes on each side.
Remove the burgers from the pan, place them in a tray and bake them in a preheated oven at 340°F (170°C) for 12-15 minutes.
Arrange the burgers by briefly toasting the bun halves. On the bottom bun, place cheese, tomato, burger, more cheese and caramelized onion. Cover with the top of the bread bun and press it lightly.
Serve them with fries if you like.
The Mexican Bean Burger is ready.
