Ingredients

  • raw cashews - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • pitted dates - 7 oz (200 g)
  • tahini - 2.8 oz (80 g) sesame, peanut, almond
  • maple syrup - 1 tbsp.
  • vanilla - 1 tsp. (liquid)
  • carob powder - 2 tbsp.
  • for rolling
  • nuts - ground (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts)
  • ground flaxseed
  • carob powder
  • coconut shavings

How to make

Soak the raw cashews in hot water for 30 minutes.

Cut the dates into small pieces.

In a powerful blender put all of the ingredients for the vegan candies and grind. Do not puree them. Some larger pieces should remain. If the mixture is very thick, you can add 1-2 tbsp. of the water in which the cashews are soaked.

Prepare several deep dishes in which you will put the ground nuts, coconut shavings, or buckwheat flour mixed with ground flaxseed.

Shape them into small balls and roll them as you like.

Place each candy in a paper cup and refrigerate the for 2-3 hours to set.

From this amount I made 35 candies.
