  • sugar - 6.4 oz (180 g)
  • butter - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • oranges - 2 pcs.

How to make

For this orange cake, separate yolks from whites. Add the sugar to the yolks and beat, until a smooth mixture is obtained.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, until a white mixture is obtained. In portions, add the ground almonds to the yolks and pour the juice of one orange.

Add the beaten egg whites.

Grease a 9.4″ (24 cm) tin with butter. Pour the mixture and level it out.

Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes in an oven preheated to 340°F (170°C).

Remove the baked dietary cake from the cake tin after it has cooled completely.

Cut the peel of the second orange into strips.

Put 3.5 oz (100 g) of sugar and 1 tbsp. of water.
