"Sweet oven-baked rigatoni - if you havent tried them yet, now is the time"

Ingredients

  • rigatoni pasta - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • eggs - 6 pcs.
  • sugar - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • milk - 5 cups (1 L) boiled and cooled
  • white cheese - 5.3 oz (150 g) feta
  • vanilla essence
  • melted butter - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • brown sugar - 2 tbsp.

How to make

Boil the rigatoni in salted water, until they're semi-cooked, strain them and pour them with the melted butter.

Place the rigatoni upright in a suitable baking pan with high walls (see photo).

If you have decided to add cheese, sprinkle it in small lumps over the macaroni.

Then they are carefully poured with the mixture of beaten eggs, sugar, milk and vanilla.

Bake the delicious oven-baked pasta in a preheated oven at 320°F (160°C) for about 1 hour.

Before they are completely cooked, they are sprinkled with brown or white sugar and placed back into the oven, until the top layer turns aquires an appetizing color.
