"La Carriola Pizza turned out really well and somehow there was not a single piece left."

Ingredients

  • flour - 1.5 lb (660 g)
  • water - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp.
  • dry yeast - 2 tsp (7 g)
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp.
  • onion - 1/2 onion
  • bacon - 5.3 oz (150 g) thin slices
  • tomato sauce - 6 tbsp.
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • olive oil - for greasing the pizza pan
  • fresh oregano

How to make

Dissolve the yeast in part of the warm water along with the sugar and a little flour and leave it for a while.

Meanwhile, pour the flour into the kneading bowl and make a well in it. Sprinkle the salt over the edges. Pour the yeast, water and olive oil into the well and knead a soft dough. Leave it to rise.

When ready, divide the dough according to the pizza pan in which you will bake the pizza and roll it out into a thin layer.

Place the dough in a greased pizza pan and spread it with the tomato sauce. Arrange the sliced bacon on top and sprinkle generously with yellow cheese.

Place the raw egg on top.

Bake the pizza in a heated oven at 390°F (200°C) for about 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with oregano leaves and serve.
