How to make
The cauliflower is washed, cleaned from the leaves and the end of the cob is shortened and cut crosswise.
Water is poured into a pot and after it boils, salt is added - about 1 tbsp. Place the cauliflower in the boiling salted water, cob side down. Leave it to boil for about 15 minutes with the lid on.
Meanwhile, pour the cream and milk in another saucepan, beat with a wire whisk and heat the mixture on the stove. Add the yellow cheese and stir, until it has melted.
Season the sauce with grated nutmeg, ground white pepper and salt. The ham is cut into thin strips and also added in the sauce. Leave it on the stove for 5 minutes, while stirring constantly.
Remove the cauliflower from the pot, cut it in half and place it on two plates or leave it whole on a plate.
Drizzle it generously with the sauce and sprinkle it with finely chopped parsley.
The creamed cauliflower is very tasty.
