How to make
5 cups (1 liter) of water is added to the sugar. A thick syrup is boiled. The cinnamon stick and the geranium are added to it.
The quinces are washed and cut into 5 mm thick slices. Put them in the sugar syrup and boil them for 20 minutes.
Remove from the heat and leave the mixture to cool.
Place the pot back onto the heat and boil for 10 minutes.
Leave it to cool completely again. Strain it through a colander.
The strained quince slices are rolled in granulated sugar. They are arranged onto kitchen paper and the so-called candy is left to dry.
Now you have wonderful quince candies.
