Ingredients

  • shrimp - 7 oz (200 g) blanched
  • chilli peppers - 1/2 pc. optional
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • white wine - 1/2 cup dry
  • heavy cream - 2 tbsp.
  • butter - 2 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - a few drops
  • sundried tomatoes - 3 - 4 pcs chopped
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • spaghetti of your preference

How to make

Clead and seed the chilli pepper, and chop it finely, almost to a paste. Chop the parsley finely as well. Crush the garlic.

Cover the surface of a heavy bottom pan with olive oil. Place it on the stove and heat. Toss in the shrimp and sear for about 30 seconds on each side.

Add the chilli paste, crushed garlic, butter, and shake the pan. Season with salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Pour in the wine, deglaze and set the shrimp aside.

Keep the pan on the stove at moderate heat, add the cream, allow it to reduce for a minute and return the shrimp back into the pan.

Finally add the chopped sundried tomatoes. They will add a nice touch to this delicious dish.

Cook the pasta according to the instructions. Strain and keep one cup of the pasta water.

Combine the spaghetti to the shrimp sauce, add the pasta water and serve.

You can also use pasta tricolore.
