How to make
In order to make good sangria, the fruit need to be left in the rum.
Squeeze the juice from half a lemon and one orange. Chop the strawberries, peach and leftover lemon. Also cut the remaining orange.
Mix all of the fruit along with juice, honey, cinnamon, cloves and rum.
Then close in a jar or container. Do not add a lot of spices, as they are quite strong and can spoil the taste of this kind of alcoholic cocktail.
Before serving the homemade strawberry sangria, pour the fruit along with the juice into a glass jug and add ice.
Add the pre-chilled wine and stir.
Finish off the summer drink with fresh mint leaves.
