Ingredients

  • garlic - 1 clove
  • apple vinegar - 1/2 tbsp.
  • molasses - 1 tbsp.
  • tamarind paste - 1 tbsp.
  • honey - 2 tbsp.
  • chilli powder or flakes - 1 tsp.
  • fish sauce - 2 tbsp.
  • onion powder - 1/2 tsp.

How to make

Crush the garlic with a tsp of salt, transfer into a bowl and add the apple vinegar, honey, molasses, and tamarind paste.

Add the fish sauce, onion powder and chilli. You can add chilli flakes for a stronger taste, but chilli powder of the same quantity is good too.

Place the homemade Worcestershire sauce into an air tide container or jar and seal.

If preserved correctly, it can last for up to two months. Shake before use.
