How to make
Cut onions and carrots into small pieces and stew them in oil. Then add the finely chopped garlic, paprika and fry for a while.
Add the water and wait for it to boil. Boil the onions and carrots until ready, then add the chickpeas and cook for another 15-20 minutes, add spices and the lightly mashed tomatoes.
If desired, you can thicken the soup with a little flour dissolved in water.
And for those who don't like lean soups - you can cut some bacon into cubes and fry it in a non greased pan.
After distributing the soup into bowls you can sprinkle it with bacon.
The hot chickpea soup is ready.
