How to make
Boil 1 cup of lentils - there should be no water left and add 1 cup of fine bulgur to swell.
Stew the onions with the tomato chutney (lutenitsa).
Mix everything very well, season with salt, black pepper, cumin, hot paprika and squeeze the lemon.
Add finely chopped parsley and spring onions and mash the mixture for the lentil patties.
Form it into small lean patties and eat them with lettuce leaves.
Enjoy these delicious red lentils and bulgur patties.
