Ingredients

  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • sunflower oil - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • wholemeal flour - 2 cups
  • goat milk yogurt - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • soda - 1 level top tsp.
  • olives - 10 - 15 pcs.
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • cumin - for sprinkling

How to make

Beat the eggs with the oil and add 1 cup of the flour. Mix the soda with the yogurt and salt and leave it to activate, then add it to the eggs.

Add flour to the resulting mixture, until a cake batter is obtained.

Once we have achieved a homogeneous mixture, mix the chopped olives. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured cake tin and sprinkle it with cumin.

If desired, you can add cumin to the mixture.

Bake the savory sponge cake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C).
