"We have a great recipe for canned marinated peppers, for lovers of spicy food"

Ingredients

  • hot peppers - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • parsley - 1 small bunch
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 2 - 3 cloves
  • honey - 1 tbsp.
  • pickles - the juice of 1 jar
  • oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • salt - by taste
measures

How to make

Wash and dry the hot peppers. Leave their stems, because with them you will be able to turn them easier when roasting them.

Roast the hot peppers on a grill, grill pan, or even directly on the hob.

Transfer the roasted peppers into a plastic bag and leave them to stew for 10-15 minutes, so that they can be peeled more easily.

For the marinade, pour the pickle juice, honey and stir, until the honey is completely dissolved. You can also add a little salt, if needed.

Peel, finely chop the carrot and add it to the marinade. Add the finely chopped garlic and parsley. Finally, add the oil and mix everything well.

Peel the hot peppers, remove the stems and split the tip of each pepper with a knife. Dip them in the marinade.

You can serve them right away or put them in jars. In the latter case, they should be consumed within a few weeks.

The canned hot peppers with honey and carrots are wonderful!
