How to make

The red onions added to boiled white beans are a great addition to baked fish!

It often happens, that you go home and have very little time to prepare something to eat. I think this bean salad can be a stand-alone dish or a great side dish to baked fish!

It takes very little effort and the result is truly amazing.

Peel the red onion, wash it and cut it into thin slices.

In a small skillet, heat a few tablespoons of oil, then add the onions, lightly season with salt and fry them well on a low heat, while stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, strain the cooked beans and rinse them thoroughly under running water.

In a small bowl, add a few tablespoons of oil, a pinch of salt, ground black pepper, finely chopped parsley and a few drops of lemon. Emulsify.

Mix the beans with the prepared emulsion, then add the onions.

Stir well and season with salt, if necessary.

The Spanish-Style White Bean Salad is ready to be served.

Enjoy the white beans and stewed red onions as a side dish!
