How to make
The sea snails are placed in a deep pot and you can clean the shells a little in advance, so that the water does not become cloudy.
Add enough water to cover them and put them on the stove. After the water boils, 8 minutes are timed.
After the sea snails are cooked, they are removed from the shells. They should be cleaned very carefully, so curly part of the snail remains. The rest of the sea snail is inedible.
The onion is peeled and cut into strips. Pour it into a bowl. Add the sea snails to it. They are seasoned with balsamic vinegar (a little, because there will be lemon), salt, olive oil and black pepper (it is optional).
The juice is squeezed from the lemon, which we also add into the bowl. Mix well and serve the appetizer.
The sea snail and red onion salad is very tasty.
