Ingredients

  • dough
  • butter - 2.8 oz (80 g)
  • water - 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • milk - 3.4 fl oz (100 ml)
  • flour - 5 oz (140 g)
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • cream
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • powdered sugar - 3 tbsp.
  • fresh milk - 20 fl oz (600 ml)
  • liquid chocolate - 4 tbsp.
  • sugar - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • liquid cream - 4.4 fl oz (130 ml)
  • corn starch - 2.1 oz (60 g)
  • soft butter - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • vanilla powder - 4/5 tsp (4 g)

How to make

In a small saucepan pour the water, salt and milk. Once it boils, add the flour and mix very well. When the dough is obtained, remove it from the heat and leave it to cool.

Add the eggs to it, by stirring after each one. Pour half of the dough into a mold with a diameter of 10″ (26 cm). Bake the cake layer for the wonderful cake for 25 minutes at 390°F (200°C). Do the same with the other part.

Meanwhile, prepare the cake cream. Mix the starch, eggs and sugar. Pour a little milk. Bring the others to a boil in a pot. Pour the first mixture with the eggs and place it back onto the hob. Stir, until it thickens.

Add the vanilla and cover it with foil. Once it has cooled, beat with a mixer.

Beat the butter and powdered sugar and add them to the cream. Whip the cream and add it to the cream.

Start assembling the Carpathian cake, by placing one cake layer first. Tighten it with a ring. Pour the cream and place the liquid chocolate using a piping bag.

Add the second cake layer and leave the finished cake in the refrigerator to harden.

Remove the ring, decorate it with chocolate and serve the Classic Carpathian Cake.
