How to make
In a bowl, sift the flour with a pinch of salt, the two vanillas and 1 tsp. baking powder.
Add the sugar, egg and sliced cold butter.
Knead a soft butter pastry dough. Wrap it in a piece of nylon and refrigerate it for 1 hour.
Cut the apples into slices. Sprinkle them with 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and a few drops of lemon juice.
Roll out the cooled pie dough onto a piece of baking paper.
Transfer it into a tray (if you use a round one - 9.4″ /24 cm/) Form a high boarder.
Pierce the bottom with a fork and pour the plum jam. Spread it evenly and arrange the sliced apples on it with a slight overlap.
Bake the butter pie at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes.
After removing the apple pie from the oven, immediately transfer it onto a wire rack.
Sprinkle powdered sugar over the butter pie with arranged apples.
Enjoy!
