How to make

Prepare the butter crust by sifting and mixing the flour into a bowl. Add the cold butter cubes to them. Then add the powdered sugar and water.

Knead the dough with your hands without kneading for very long. Then spread out the butter pastry dough with your fingers in a pie tin covered with parchment paper.

To prepare the filling for the butter pastry pie, wash, peel and cut the apples into small pieces and place them in a bowl.

Add the brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, rum essence, raisins and almonds (ground in a chopper) to them. Mix everything well and place it on the base in the pie tin.

Cover the wonderful apple pie with foil and leave it in the fridge for an hour.

Bake the butter pastry pie with apples in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C), until it's ready. If desired, one egg can be added to the base before kneading it.

Enjoy!
