How to make
The apples are optionally cut into either cubes or slices.
Sprinkle a thin layer of sugar on the bottom of the baking pan (9″ /22 cm/). Arrange the sliced apples on top of the sugar. Caramelize them in the oven.
In a bowl, mix the sugar, yogurt and soda. Add the oil and flour. Optionally, you can add vanilla and/or cinnamon.
Pour the mixture over the caramelized apples.
Bake the apple pie at 360°F (180°C), until it aquires a golden color.
Once it cools down, turn it over into a suitable dish and sprinkle it with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
An economical apple pie, which will not burden your budget.
