How to make
I present you with an easy way to grill a whole sea bream by wrapping it in foil and that way in addition to the fact that it won't stick to the grill, it will also stew and smoke, by absorbing the aromas of what you will flavor it with better.
And in this case I chose mainly garlic, spring onions, sweet cherry tomatoes and white pepper. Other spices can be added of your choice, as long as they go with fish and are not too intrusive and kill the taste of the tender sea bream.
First, clean the sea bream from the entrails and scales. Wash and dry the fish.
Spread it with plenty olive oil on the inside and outside, white pepper, salt and lemon juice. In the belly, place halved garlic cloves, a few cherry tomatoes and chopped spring onions. Place the rest of the onions and tomatoes on top and on the sides of the fish, which is placed on a large sheet of aluminum foil (well greased).
Seal the foil well and if necessary, add a second layer.
Heat the grill, but not over high heat, but rather moderate. Sometimes I am not careful with the heat and when it is stronger, the onions on the side burn, but this does not affect the fish itself.
Grill the sea bream in foil for 6-8 minutes on one side and about 4-5 minutes on the other.
Once it's ready, leave it in the foil for 5 minutes without opening it to continue cooking it slowly.
Unwrap it and serve it by separating the tender fish fillets and serve it with the softened cherry tomatoes and another fish garnish of your choice.
The recipe for whole grilled sea bream in foil is accomplished. Enjoy your meal!
