"The aroma of pan-fried beef bites is like an invisible hand, which leads us straight to the kitchen"

Ingredients

  • beef - 300 g (ham)
  • spring onions - 6 - 7 stalks
  • pepper puree - 2 tbsp.
  • soy sauce - 3 tbsp.
  • brown sugar - 2 tbsp.
  • olive oil - 8 tbsp.
  • brandy - 3 caps
  • black pepper - by taste
  • dried vegetables - 1 tbsp. (mix of onion, celery, garlic, carrot)
  • oregano - 2 pinches
  • cumin powder - 1 pinch
measures

How to make

Clean the beef from any skins and cut it into chunks.

Marinate it for 4-5 hours in half of the olive oil, spices, sugar, soy sauce, dried vegetables and brandy.

If you do not like these spices, you can replace them with others to your liking.

Heat a frying pan over high heat and add the remaining olive oil. Fry the meat along with the marinade until it aquires a golden brown color and then reduce the heat.

Pour about 200 ml of warm water and half of the chopped spring onions and stew them, until the beef has completely softened for about 20 minutes over medium heat (depending on the quality and characteristics of the beef you use).

The liquid should have thickened and almost reduced, so if you want to serve it with sauce, you can add a little more water to dilute it.

Also, if the salinity of the soy sauce is not enough, add extra salt.

Serve the pan-fried beef bites with the remaining chopped spring onions and eat them warm.

Enjoy your meal!
