How to make
Squeeze the lemon juice directly into the milk and wait a few minutes for it to lump up.
Pour the soda and after it activates, add the oil, sifted flour, salt and sugar.
Mix the soda pita dough with a spatula or spoon, because it will be sticky.
Stir briefly until it begins to separate from the walls of the container and with greased hands shape it into a ball. The dough does not have to be firm, in order to rise.
Put it in a greased pan, flatten it slightly with your fingers and make indentations with your fingertips.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 degrees) for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 360°F (180 degrees) for another 10 minutes or until it is fully baked. Do not open the oven before the 20th minute.
Leave the baked soda pita to cool for a few minutes, but not completely and break it up while it's still slightly warm on your table.
Enjoy your meal!
