  • wholemeal flour - 2 cups
  • baking powder - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • butter - 5.3 oz (150 g)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • milk - 1 cup (250 ml)
  • vanilla - 1 ampoule

How to make

Sift the wholemeal flour along with the baking powder, add the sugar and mix everything well.

Add the softened butter, cold milk, eggs, vanilla to the mixed dry ingredients and knead a soft biscuit dough.

Grease the dough, wrap it in foil and leave it aside for 10-15 minutes.

Roll out the dough for the homemade biscuits very thinly and with the help of an metal ring or cup cut out circles.

Pierce each circle with a fork and arrange them in a tray lined with baking paper.

Bake the soft tea biscuits in a preheated oven at 350°F (175 degrees) until they aquire a golden brown color.
