How to make
Sift the flour over paper laid out on the kitchen counter. In the middle of the pile, make a hole. Add 1 cup of sugar, pinch of salt, 3/4 cup milk and 2/5 cup (100 g) melted lard. Finely grate the zest of half a lemon.
Knead a dough, cover it with a towel and leave it to rest for two hours. Then roll it out into a thin sheet. With a small glass, cut out shapes, then bake them in greased oven dish on medium heat until lightly pinkish.
Place the ready biscuits in a bowl. When cool, cover them with saran wrap.
