How to make
Dissolve the yeast in the cool water with sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour. Stir, lightly sprinkle the top with flour and leave it to rise in a warm place. Once the flour cracks on top, it's ready. Sift the remaining flour in a tray and add the salt.
Make a well in the middle and pour in the ready mixture, then gradually knead a soft dough. At the end of kneading, add the olive oil. Thus prepared dough is transferred to a lightly greased bowl and covered with foil. Leave it to rise in a warm place for 40-45 minutes - until doubled in volume.
From the ready dough, cut 2 rectangles and roll them up by hand into a baguette. Thus formed baguettes are put in a tray with baking paper, sprinkled with flour. Make a few minor cuts on the surface with a sharp and greased knife.
Leave the baguettes to rest for 10-15 minutes. In a moderately heated oven, place a fireproof bowl with water and then place the baguettes to bake.
