Ingredients

  • For the dough
  • flour - 8.8 oz (250 g)
  • butter - 4.4 oz (125 g)
  • water - 8 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • For the stuffing
  • cooking cream - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • mustard - 1 tsp.
  • yellow cheese - by taste
  • white cheese - by taste (I used cow and goat cheese)
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • spices - of choice
  • tomatoes - 1 pc.

How to make

Start of by preparing the dough. It is a type of buttery dough and does not need to rise.

Add the flour, melted butter, as much salt as you like and a little water, so that the dough can become elastic.

It won't be very soft, but you can leave it for a while, to relax.

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a thin crust, so that it fits the shape, which will be used for baking. Press the dough well against the form and cut out the excess.

In a bowl, beat the egg with the cream and add the crumbled white cheese and yellow cheese.

Add the tomatoes (cut into slices), season with aromatic spices and place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake it at 360°F (180 degrees) for about half an hour.

The savory quiche with tomatoes and cheese is very tasty.
