Ingredients

  • pork legs - 2 pcs.
  • pork ears - 1 pc.
  • beef legs - 1/2 pc.
  • water - 1.3 gal (5 liters)
  • black pepper - 10 grains
  • bay leaf - 4 pcs.
  • salt - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Wash legs and ears thoroughly several times with water.

Put them in a pressure cooker, pour water, add black pepper and bay leaf.

Cook them for about 3 hours on medium heat.

After 3 hours, remove the pot from the heat. Open it, remove and clean the legs from the bones.

Return the meat into the broth, in which it was boiled, add salt and stir.

Pour the homemade hot brawn into a pan. Cool it to room temperature, then transfer it into the refrigerator.

Cut the cold brawn into cubes.

Sprinkle the pieces with paprika and serve the Serbian Pork Leg Brawn.
