"Broccoli is always a great idea for a tasty and healthy side dish"

Ingredients

  • broccoli - 1 head
  • oregano - 1 tbsp. (dried or 1 fresh stalk)
  • fresh fasil - 0.35 oz (10 g)
  • olive oil - 1.6 oz (45 g)
  • garlic - 3 cloves (about 7 g)
  • parsley - 1 tbsp (5 g) optional
  • lemon - 1 pc.
  • salt - by taste
  • mint - 1 tbsp (5 g) fresh leaves
  • pecorino - 4 tbsp.

How to make

Cut the broccoli stem and divide the broccoli into smaller pieces.

Wash them well and boil them for about 7-8 minutes.

Grind in a blender or crush them in a wooden mortar with all of the spices, garlic cloves, lemon peel, lemon juice, salt and olive oil.

Transfer the broccoli into a greased baking pan and spread them generously with the Sicilian sauce.

Sprinkle the oven-baked broccoli with pecorino and bake them for about 15 minutes at 200°C.

Pour the remaining sauce over the baked vegetables.

The baked broccoli with Sicilian sauce are very tasty.
