How to make

Use the cheese you love for this recipe.

If it's a creamy French cheese, which is wrapped in a hard crust, such as Camembert and goat cheese rolls, frying in a pan is an easy job.

Heat it over a high heat and the cheese must be at room temperature, because if you just take it out of the fridge, it will burn on the outside and stay cold inside and will not melt, which is not desirable.

Bake it on both sides on a lightly greased pan, while being careful not to melt all over the pan and remove it quickly with a spatula, if you see signs of this happening.

Such cheeses go with blueberry, raspberry, apricot and also fig jam.

Spread the spoonfuls of jam on the cheese and sprinkle it with pistachios, which have been baked and peeled in advance.

For plain cheese - sheep, cow or feta, use breadcrumbs to sprinkle the pan to make sure it doesn't stick. One thing is important - high heat and short baking on each side.

Add the jam and nuts, like for the first type of creamy cheese, but here you can use any fruit, even honey and the pistachios can be replaced with walnuts.

Serve it with a glass of good wine!
