How to make
Boil the potatoes and prepare a thick paste by adding the milk or cream + 3 1/3 tbsp (50 g) butter. Season to taste with salt, black pepper and nutmeg.
In a pan, heat about 2 tbsp (30 g) of butter and fry the onion, then add the ground beef. Stir 6-7 minutes until fried. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Brush the walls and bottom of a suitable baking tray with butter, add the meat and puree on top. Sprinkle the top with grated cheese.
Bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated 390°F (200 °C) oven. To the meat, you can add mushrooms or finely chopped bacon, finely chopped fresh herbs to taste, etc.
