How to make
Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Beat the egg whites, add salt, lemon juice and at the end, add half of the sugar.
Beat the yolks with the remaining sugar and vanilla.
Add the beaten egg yolks to the egg whites, mix them well and add the flour little by little.
In a pastry piping bag with a round tip, put the ready-made dough and shape the lady fingers in a tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle them with powdered sugar on top.
Bake the classic ladyfingers in a preheated oven at 340°F (170 degrees) for 25-30 minutes.
You can eat the ladyfingers with afternoon coffee or include them in the preparation of a festive ladyfinger cake, other delicious cakes with ladyfingers, etc.
