Ingredients

  • tortilla wraps - 8 pcs.
  • iceberg - 6 - 7 leaves
  • minced beef - 1.5 lb (700 g)
  • onions - 1 onion
  • red perrers - 1 pc.
  • green peppers - 1 pc.
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • salt - to taste
  • chilli powder
  • turmeric
  • black pepper
  • For the salsa
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs.
  • chilli peppers - 1 pc.
  • lemons - 1 pc.
  • onions - 1 onion
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • salt - to taste
  • For the yogurt sauce
  • yogurt - 1 cup
  • sour cream - 1 cup
  • cucumbers - 1/2 pc.
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Dice the onion, and the green and red peppers.

Saute in a drizzle of hot oil until soft, add the minced beef and reduce the heat while stirring constantly.

Season with salt, black pepper, turmeric, chilli powder and simmer until the mince is cooked.

Prepare the salsa by dicing the tomatoes, onion, parsley and chilli pepper finely. Squeeze in the lemon and season with salt to taste.

For the yogurt sauce, mix the yogurt and sour cream into a bowl, and add the shredded cucumber. Season with salt, to taste. Stir and chill. Chop the iceberg lettuce into stripes.

Once all the fixings are ready, you can start assembling your burritos. Lay a tortilla wrap on a plate, add the iceberg, then the minced beef, and finally the tomato salsa and yogurt sauce. Your Burrito is ready.
