How to make

Meatballs preparation:

Grate the zucchini, season them with salt and leave them for 15 minutes. Then strain them well. Use a cheesecloth or strainer. You need 1.1 lb (500 g) of strained zucchini. The zucchini are mixed with the minced meat, egg and spices. Shape balls and bake them.

If you bake them in the oven, it should be at 390°F (200°C). Arrange them on a tray lined with baking paper.

I baked my meatballs in the air fryer. I chose the roast program. First I tried 370°F (185°C), but 370°F (190°C) is better. In 15 minutes they were ready, when I flipped them.

Yogurt sauce preparation:

I usually do it in a 1:3 ratio. That means 3 parts cream and 1 part cream cheese.

Put the cream and cheese in a pan and stir over medium heat, until it thickens. I also added 1 clove of pressed garlic. I then add salt at the end after tasting it.

The meatballs with minced meat and zucchini in yogurt sauce are ready.
