"Absolutely appetizing garlic chicken fricassee"

Ingredients

  • chicken drumsticks - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • fresh garlic - 3 stalks
  • oil - 2 tbsp. (or olive oil)
  • soft butter - 3 - 4 tbsp.
  • flour - 4 tbsp. with a tip (for a thicker dish you can add more)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • yolks - 1 pc.
  • yogurt - 5 tbsp.
  • salt - by taste
measures

How to make

Boil the chicken drumsticks, debone them and strain the broth. You will need at least a liter of it.

Cut or chop the meat into chunks.

Heat the oil and butter over a low to moderate heat. Add the pressed or finely grated garlic cloves. Stir briefly until it releases its aroma.

Pour the flour and stir until it aquires a light golden brown color (be careful not to burn it! )

Pour the broth in a stream, while stirring constantly. For a perfectly smooth texture, mix with a wire stirrer.

Add salt and boil until it thickens over low to moderate heat for 8-10 minutes, while stirring often.

Add the meat and start making the thickener.

For it, beat the egg and yolk with the yogurt.

Pour a few scoops of the fricassee to even out the temperatures, then pour the mixture back into the pot. Stir well and leave it for a few minutes on the turned off stove or on low heat.

The fricassee should not be too thick or too thin, so if you're making more sauce, add more flour.

Otherwise, just add more water or broth to the chicken dish.

Serve the delicious garlic chicken fricassee warm by sprinkling it with finely chopped fresh garlic.

Enjoy your meal!
