Clean the small green watermelons and cut them into pieces. Put them in jars, along with the cleaned whole heads of garlic and cut into crescents onion, add a spoonful of salt and sugar in each jar and top up with water.
Add the aspirin, bay leaf and black pepper. Close the jars and let them sit a warm place for a few days. Shake them periodically, then put them in a cool, dark place.
