How to make
Choose small watermelons that are unripe, hard and crunchy. Wash them, dry them and pierce them with a thick needle all over. Arrange them in a drum.
Combine the water, vinegar with salt, sugar, cloves, mustard seeds, black pepper and cinnamon stick in a pot. Boil the marinade and then immediately pour it over the watermelons; you may remove the cinnamon.
Leave the watermelon to get pickled in the drum in a cool place and decant the brine every 2-3 days until the pickle is ready.
