Ingredients

  • pork chops - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - from 1 lemon
  • dried oregano - 1 tbsp.
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp.
  • ground cumin - 1 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • chili - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • salt - by taste
  • peppers - 4 pcs. (multicolored)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • oil - 2 tbsp.
  • tortillas - 4 - 6 pcs.
  • grated yellow cheese

How to make

In a bowl or bag, mix the oil with the lemon juice and spices. Add the pork chops and roll them well in the marinade. Refrigerate them for about 1-4 hours.

Peel onions and clean the peppers and cut them into thin and long strips.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan on a medium heat. Add the onions and peppers and fry them for about 10 minutes until they soften. Remove the vegetables from the pan and place the steaks.

Cook them for 6 minutes on each side. Remove and leave them aside. Return the onions and peppers into the pan to heat up and remove the pan from the heat.

Cut the pork into thin slices. Bake each tortilla for 1 minute on each side.

Sprinkle them with grated yellow cheese, add the vegetables and pieces of pork and wrap them up

Serve the fajitas with sour cream, if desired.
