How to make

We often prepare nachos at home, baked in the oven with different toppings. This is an option for a very quick and tasty dinner or a crunchy beer appetizer.

Soak the black beans in water for a few hours or 1 night to make them easier to cook. Discard the water in which they were soaked, pour new one and boil them until they soften.

Strain the beans and leave some of the water (it is black in color) and mix it with two or three spoons of tomato puree, salt and celery powder (maybe a little garlic powder or grated fresh garlic). Heat it over high heat and cook briefly until the flavors are combined and the bean sauce thickens.

Separately, chop the onion and two cloves of garlic and fry them in oil until they aquire a golden color. Add the minced meat, spices, salt and the rest of the tomato puree and stir until the minced meat crumbles and remains in fat.

Pour half of the corn tortilla chips into a baking pan, spread the beans and minced meat on them. Cover with the remaining chips with the other part of the toppings.

Sprinkle them with grated soft cheese or yellow cheese - as much as you like.

Place the baking pan in a preheated 390°F (200 degree) oven and bake them until the cheese melts and they aquire a light golden color.

Serve the delicious nachos warm and enjoy them with a glass of beer or red wine in the company of good friends.

If you are preparing them for children, avoid making them spicy, but know that this is part of the charm of this dish.

Enjoy your meal!

Nachos can be consumed with a neutral taste (without aromas) or flavored with cheese, spices and more.
