  • ginger root - 1″ (2.5 cm)
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • turmeric - 1/2 tsp.
  • cayenne pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • oil - 5 tbsp.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • dill seeds - 1 tsp.
  • apples - 1 pc.
  • spring onions - 6 stalks
  • coriander - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Boil the potatoes, peel them and cut them into about 1″ (2.5 cm) cubes. The peeled and chopped ginger root, garlic, turmeric, salt and cayenne pepper are mashed together. Add 3 tbsp to the mixture and mix it very well.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan, add the dill seeds and fry them for 2 minutes. Add the ginger paste and cook for another 2 minutes, while stirring gently.

Reduce the heat, add the diced ​​potatoes and cook them for 5-7 minutes until they form a nice golden crust. Add the sliced ​​apple and spring onions.

Sprinkle the stewed potatoes with coriander and remove them from the heat.
