Beat the butter with powdered sugar well with a mixer, until you get a creamy mixture. While continuously beating, add the eggs one by one, the lemon zest, milk with the dissolved baking powder and the flour gradually.
Thoroughly beat the pie mixture and put it into a greased and floured form. Put it to bake in a moderately heated oven until ready. Cut the finished pie and sprinkle it with plenty of vanilla sugar that has been sifted through a strainer.
