How to make
Cut onions into thin slices. Put them in a pan with heated oil. Season with salt.
While the onion is being stewed, finely chop the garlic and add it into a cast iron skillet.
Stew until both the onion and garlic soften, add the sugar, stir the homemade chutney regularly for about 5 minutes, add the balsamic vinegar and chili.
Stew until the liquid evaporates from the onion chutney.
