How to make
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees).
Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
Beat the butter with the two kinds of sugar to a white cream. Add the eggs, one by one, followed by the orange peel. Sift in the flour gradually and keep mixing on low speed. Finally add the chocolate chips and stir, until they are evenly distributed.
Scoop a teaspoon of the cookie dough and form a small ball with your hands, around 0.7 oz (20 g). You can use a kitchen scale, if you wish to be precise. Arrange the balls on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, keeping a distance from one another. The cookies tend to rise while baking, that is why you should make sure there is enough space between them.
Chill the cookies.
Bake them in a preheated oven to 360°F (180 degrees) for 10-12 minutes.
Be careful not to overcook these cookies, since they tend to get hard and dry. Their top should be still soft and their bottom golden brown. Remove from the oven and cool on the baking sheet.
Depending on their size, you will get 30-50 Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Enjoy!
