Ingredients

  • lentils - 9 oz (250 g)
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • onion - 2 onions
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • cloves - 2 pcs.
  • cinnamon - 1 stick
  • curry - 1 tbsp.
  • tomato puree - 1 tsp.
  • salt - by taste
  • lemon juice - by taste

How to make

Pre-soak the lentils in cold water. After 4 hours, pour the water out and add new cold water.

Boil the lentils and after 30 minutes add one finely chopped onion.

Finely chop the second onion, crush the garlic and along with the chopped pepper, cloves and cinnamon, fry them for 2-3 minutes.

Reduce the heat, add the curry powder. Stew for 3-4 minutes and add all the spices and tomato paste. After that mix it with the cooked lentils.

The consistency of the dish can be according to your taste.
