How to make
Peel the onion and carve it out. Finely chop the inside and add the finely chopped parsley and ham, the cheese, the black pepper, salt, the soaked and drained slice of bread and the egg.
Fill the onion heads with this mixture and arrange them in a greased baking pan.
Prepare a sauce of melted butter, sugar and broth and pour it over the onions.
Bake the stuffed onions in a preheated 390°F (200 degree) oven.
