How to make
I make 3 jars from the given amounts, as shown in the picture.
Cut the onion into large pieces, in this case mine was cut into quarters. Put some in a colander and run boiling water over the onions. In this way, the obtrusive smell disappears.
Keep under hot running water for no more than 1-2 minutes. Then put it in jars, adding a stalk thyme.
You make your marinade, let it boil for a bit and fill the jars.
You can change the marinade according to your taste.
If you close the jars in the morning and turn them every 1 hour, in the evening the marinated onions are ready for consumption.
The marinated onions with fresh thyme are ready.
