How to make
To make marinated feta cheese, you need to pick out a firm feta. In my case, I used a firm cow's feta cheese.
Cut it into identical cubes.
Be sure to pick out fresh spices because they have a stronger aroma, plus provide freshness. Clean and chop them. Put the feta cheese cubes in glass jars, alternate between them, the olives and fresh spices.
Pour in cayenne pepper flakes. Amounts are according to preference. Finally, finish off with quality olive oil.
Close the jars and put them in the fridge for about 1 week.
Once the feta is ready, I like to add it to salads but also have it on its own as an appetizer or antipasto. Additionally, you can use the seasoned olive oil for salads or in other dishes.
It's also perfect for spaghetti.
