Ingredients

  • feta cheese - 8 oz (230 g)
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp (30 ml)
  • chives - 8 - 10 stalks (or normal spring onions - 3 - 4 stalks )
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • red pepper - 1 - 2 pinches
  • rosemary - 1 pinch fresh or dried
  • thyme - 1 pinch
  • oregano - 1 pinch
  • dill - 1 pinch, dried
  • hot pepper - 1 pinch or to taste

How to make

1. Tear off a large piece of aluminum foil, grease it with a few drops of olive oil and place the feta cheese piece in the middle.

2. Chop the chives, cut the garlic into thin slices, and put them on the feta cheese.

Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with a mix of all the spices listed in the recipe. If desired, you can put more of them.

3. Add a little more olive oil to the feta cheese, wrap it with foil, and put in a preheated 390°F (200-degree) oven for 12-15 minutes.

Serve the appetizer warm.
